East Junior High School
East Junior High is a prototype plan based on West Junior High School, and is a replacement for the existing East Junior High School. East contains the same class functions as West and has ta stage serving the practice gymnasium, a 1,000 seat performance gymnasium, and wrestling and weight room.
The building is 126,500 square feet and contains 42 classrooms with a band/choir room, technology rooms, computer classrooms, and science labs.
In light of the need for increased security, an emergency lock-down system is in place to lock all exterior and interior classroom doors from any teacher computer or central administrative button.
THe athletic field provides the Boise School District with its’ first synthetic turf football field and all weather track.
