SCOTT WENDELL | Associate Principal
Scott has promoted sustainable projects and green strategies through work on many varied projects. He was one of the first architects to be registered as a LEED accredited professional in the State of Idaho. He has spearheaded the integration of sustainable design and LEED registration at LCA. His responsibilities as associate partner and director of design at LCA range from many large design efforts, such as the Ada County Courthouse complex in Boise, Idaho to the offices and medical facilities on the St. Alphonsis Hospital campus.
His projects have ranged from these large multi-million dollar projects to multi story office buildings, EMS stations, and state park interpretive and event centers. He is experienced in quick free hand perspective and design presentations that showcase the projects at LCA. He is also part of the production team and has been responsible for construction documents and construction administration on these same projects. His involvement in the Boise City Ada County Housing Authority Board of Directors and the Capital City Kiwanis Club has given him insight into community issues and solutions for public housing and local business issues.
